Travel Southern Florida with ease and in comfort when you book one of our Ft Myers RV rentals from Cruise America`s convenient Ft. Myers RV rental center. Spacious, affordable and professionally maintained, each Cruise America RV is designed with your comfort in mind. Sleep up to seven during your vacation and enjoy the sights of the Sunshine State with ease. If you`re planning a vacation in or around Ft. Myers, an RV rental from Cruise America is the best way to get where you`re going.

While in Ft. Myers, you may want to park your RV in one of the many conveniently-located waterfront RV parks in the area, then kick back on Ft. Myers Beach. This 7-mile stretch of white-sand coastline is known for its shallow emerald waters, with no undertow. What a great beach for the adults and kids alike! Along the beach, you will also find family-friendly resorts, complimented by gulf-side seafood restaurants and a non-stop nightlife; all preceded by a spectacular sunset. There is an unlimited supply of outdoor recreation, such as Lovers Key State Park, where the back bays and mangrove forests decorate the stage for kayaking and wildlife watching. Once you have stayed in Ft. Myers for a while, you can start taking outings that will leave you … completely relaxed.
As an example:

The Community of Sanibel and Captiva Islands: These two barrier islands are connected to the mainland by a causeway that struts out from Ft. Myers across the San Carlos Bay. This is where the Caloosahatchee River empties into the Gulf of Mexico. These islands are lined with flowers and palm trees, and are famous for their immaculate beaches and a huge variety of shells that wash up on the shore. On one end of Sanibel you can visit Lighthouse Park, where the famous light tower stands as a beacon of warning to incoming boats. This is the home of a very popular fishing pier. The park opens at sunrise, and closes at sundown.

On Captiva, you can watch the spectacular sunsets that draw a nightly crowd of spectators. On Sanibel, you can walk or ride the 25-miles of multi-use paths, which also serve as sidewalks. Here on the islands more than half of the acreage has been preserved against development. Why not leave well enough alone?

Just a half-hour drive from Ft. Myers along Pine Island Road, Pine Island awaits your visit in your Cruise America rental RV, where you`ll find plenty of motorhome accommodations. Pine Island has been described as half Mayberry RFD and half fishing village. In the middle of the Island is the tiny community of Matlacha, which is a conglomeration of quaint mom and pop shops, galleries, seafood restaurants and fish markets. The rest of the island has remained somewhat remote and quiet. While in Matlacha, you can kayak beneath the moonlight, or slurp on a mango at the MangoMania festival (if you happen to be there in July), go dolphin and manatee watching or rent a powerboat and explore secluded beaches and uninhabited islands.

Wherever your journeys guide you, you can always count on an endless number of things to do in your Cruise America rental RV – especially when you’re in the state of Florida!
