RV Rental Los Angeles – The Possibilities are Endless
In a Cruise America RV rental, Los Angeles is a great starting point for a spectacular motorhome excursion along the Southern California coast. There is so much to see and do along the seashore, that you will never want for ideas. The excitement of Southern California, in concert with the luxury and comfort of an RV rental from Cruise America is a combination that is sure to deliver non-stop enjoyment. As far as your RV pickup point, you have many choices, as there are over a dozen Cruise America rental centers in SoCal alone! Here are a few (of many) things that the traveler might want to do while in Southern California:
Bolsa Chica State Beach: What a perfect coastal location to park your rental RV and enjoy the sound of the surf, as you relax in the ocean air. This is a very well known spot for surf fishing. Eager line casters can toss out their hooks with the hopes of reeling in Cabezon, Sand Shark, Corbina, Croaker, Perch and Sand Shark. During the summer, visitors can participate in a barehanded Grunion grab. This fish only spawns on the California west coast, and at the right time they are there for the grabbing. The three mile beach extends from the Huntington Beach City Pier to Seal Beach. There is also a bikeway that connects the beach with Huntington State Beach. Just across the road visitors can find some incredible bird watching and nature basking in the 1,000 acre Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Some of the amenities available at Bolsa Chica State Beach are comfort stations, dump stations, fishing, hiking trails, swimming, picnic areas and tables, restrooms and showers.
Big Bear Lake: If you prefer the mountains of California, you will find sheer beauty at Big Bear Lake. There, you have many options of where you might like to park your Cruise America RV. One of them is known as the “Ultimate Recreational Vehicle Resort,” called Big Bear Shores. Located right on the lake’s shoreline in the San Bernardino Mountains, this gate-guarded RV Resort will provide you with a host of things to do, all in a luxurious fashion. Enjoy the 40-slip marina, tennis courts, swimming pool, spas, and a private health club, all topped off with a 1,600-square foot mountain lodge. It’s like living in the heart of nature, yet being in a refined country club at the same time. Activities include fishing, golfing, exploring the back country while hiking, boating (of course) or just lying back enjoying the surroundings.
San Onofre State Beach: For a scenic coastal getaway, you may consider heading your Cruise America RV rental to this 3,000-acre coastal canyon park. The San Onofre Bluffs provides camping along the old Highway 101 right along the sandstone bluffs. Below, the beach calls it’s surf crashing invitation. This beach is very popular for swimming and surfing. Your campsite will include a fire pit and a picnic table. There are showers and chemical toilets, but be aware that there are no hookups. There is, however, a dump station. The San Onofre San Mateo Campground is just a short distance inland, but still part of the park. There is a beautiful 1.5 mile hiking trail that leads to the well known surfing site, Tresties Beach. This camping spot does include hookups for electricity and water, along with a dump station as well. There are also hot indoor showers and flushing toilets.
When you get a Cruise America RV rental, Los Angeles is just the start when exploring Southern California. No matter which of the hundreds of camping sites along the California coast you decide to stay at, you are assured of two things: You are amidst beautiful surroundings, and you are comfortable and content in your Cruise America Motorhome Rental.
