why rent an rv in Delray Beach Florida?

If you are looking for a way to camp in a year `round paradise, RV travel is the answer, and Delray Beach, otherwise known as the "Village by the Sea," is the destination. As luck would have it, Delray Beach RV rentals are available from the Cruise America RV rental station there, and what a great place to kick off a Southern Florida road trip!

No trip to Delray Beach would be complete without exploring the main street, as well as the heart of the town, Atlantic Avenue. There are a myriad of shops, boutiques, clubs and restaurants, not to mention the best people watching around. When the city closes off some of the downtown streets for a morning market or an evening celebration, it takes on not only the allure of a small-town Paris, but a festival atmosphere worthy of any carnival endorsement. Just a word of warning; it may be a good idea to park the motorhome and explore on foot, as the parking can get really tricky.

If you happen to be there on the first Friday of the moth, take advantage of the first Friday Art Walk. You can enjoy a self-guided tour and gaze on a myriad of styles of art. Enjoy the fine art galleries and working studios, and meet with several of the talented artists that comprise this award-winning artsy kind of town. It goes year-round, so you have a pretty good chance of timing your stay just right.

The Wakodahatchee Wetlands: This is the number one most visited Delray Beach attraction, and a great place to take your family for an enjoyable way to experience nature in real time. Park your Cruise America rental RV and stroll along the three-quarter-mile boardwalk that winds through the three wetland ponds. Here you will find a host of wildlife including turtles, frogs, alligators and over 140 different varieties of birds. They all thrive in the wetlands zones that were developed specifically for wildlife refuge. There is the Open Pond Zone to attract diving birds and waterfowl. There are the Emergent Marsh areas specifically for rails, moorhens and sparrows. You can see the shallow shelves where herons and egrets make their homes. The Islands Zone with its shrubs and snags make for the perfect place for nesting, roosting and basking. There is also a Forested Wetland Zone for long-term habitat development. The park is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and remarkably, there is no entrance fee to get in!

Just a quick 15-minute jaunt south on I-95 in your Cruise America motorhome will land you in the quaint town of Boca Raton. While there, enjoy marvelous outdoor experiences by visiting South Inlet Park, known to many as the prettiest place in Florida. This family friendly 11-acre beach park offers handicap accessories, saltwater fishing, picnic areas with grills and tables, a playground for the kids, as well as restrooms and showers. If you have a large group traveling together, you can even reserve one of the picnic pavilions for the whole gang.

As you continue down the Florida coastline, don`t be in a hurry. This is a trip that can be enhanced with each stop you make, as there are so many great beach towns to enjoy. You can`t go wrong as you take your RV rental along the Southern Florida coast.
