why rent an rv in Puyallup Washington?

Washington is a beautiful state in which to start your Pacific Northwest exploration, and just on the outskirts of Tacoma lies Puyallup, where you will find yet another Cruise America rental location. Here you can get one of our top-of-the-line Puyallup RV rentals to begin your family adventure.

There are so many places to travel to from our Tacoma area rental location, and no matter which direction you go, you're bound to hit beauty. Tacoma is a splendorous town with a lot of things to see and do. You can visit the widely reviewed and highly recommended Point Defiance Park, where you will find 702 acres of urban park beauty. Visit the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium while you're there. In addition, to the zoo and aquarium, you'll want to visit the Rose Garden, Rhododendron Garden, the beautiful beaches, trails, boardwalk, boathouse, an off-leash dog park and, perhaps the most splendorous attraction—a stand of old-growth forest. Visit the Chihuly Bridge of Glass, along with the Glass Museum. For the automobile enthusiast, don't miss the LeMay Car Museum, an experience to remember for anyone who is a fan of automobiles. Enjoy the views of several peaks in the Cascade Mountains as you stroll along the Ruston Way Walkway. Besides great views, you'll find benches, picnic tables and barbeque grills. There are fishing piers, beach access points and boat docs. Take your pick of several restaurants along the walkway.

When you feel like heading out on the open road for some daytrips from Tacoma, you have a broad choice of places to go:

Our Tacoma rental center is less than an hour away from Seattle, where once again you will find an endless number of attractions for you and your family to enjoy. As an example, the Pike Place Market is a favorite amongst Seattle visitors. This seaside establishment is a great place to find local vendors selling fresh produce, arts and crafts, specialty foods (especially seafood), endless shopping and more restaurants than imaginable. Of course, one of the stars of the entire show is the Pike Place Fish Market, where you can purchase anything that has ever inhabited the ocean. The market is open 363 days a year, closed only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. There is RV parking available on surface lots directly across from the Seattle Aquarium on the east side of the 1500 block of Alaskan Way. This is within easy walking distance of the Market. While in Seattle, make sure to visit the Space Needle Observation Deck, where you can see the landscape for miles, and get a bird's eye view of Seattle and Tacoma. Other attractions well worth visiting are the Future of Flight Boeing Factory Tour and Gallery, the Museum of Flight, and how about a sightseeing tour of iconic Seattle neighborhoods, panoramic views of the city and an education regarding the history of the area. Getting to Seattle from Tacoma is as easy as heading north on I-5 for approximately 40 minutes.

Mt. Rainier is a great place to get in touch with nature, as it ascends to 14,410 feet above sea level. It is an active volcano, and is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A. This has spawned six major rivers originating on the mountain. The national park, hiking trails and scenic views are abundant. A trip to Silver Falls, as well as Christine Falls makes for wonderful scenic hiking, and the rewards of beautiful scenery are well worth the trek. From Tacoma, travel east on SR 512 to SR 7. Head south to SR 706 in Elbe. Head east to the Nisqually entrance. The trip is less than an hour and a half. There is RV camping right in the park, as well as the surrounding area.

Washington is a beautiful state, and you can't go wrong no matter which area you are traveling from. It is all magnificent, and even better when you're traveling in your Cruise America rental RV.
