Cruise America's Preferred Travel Agency Program for Travel Professional in the U.S./Canada

Under Cruise America’s Preferred Travel Agency Program, it is our goal to have every IATA/ARC partner enrolled to continue to strengthen our on-going relationship and commitment to the travel agent community.

To become a Cruise America Preferred Travel Agency and obtain travel agency commissions and bonus programs on the sale of Cruise America RV rental products, simply:

  • Complete the Preferred Travel Agency Agreement
  • Complete the IRS Taxpayer Number (W-9 Tax Form) for USA based travel agencies
  • Provide the Business License Number for Canada based travel agencies
  • Provide a copy of your IATA, ARC Certification or identification of similar Travel Industry standard (CLIA, TIDS, etc)
ARC/IATA NUMBERS:

Cruise America must have your agency’s ARC/IATA number on file and in your reservation for you to receive your commission. We regularly update our files with current ARC/IATA numbers.

To confirm that your ARC/IATA number is correct in our files or for new applications please email the completed Cruise America Travel Agent Application to Cruise America Travel Agent Help Desk. Please note, if you do not use a Tax Payer Identification Number (TIN) to do business, and instead use your Social Security Number (SSN), for your personal security you must fax your completed application to 480-464-8373.

COMMISSION POLICIES:

In recognition of the business brought to us by travel agencies, Cruise America pays:

A 10% commission on net time and mileage charges and one–way rental drop fees on all RV rentals originally booked by the Travel Agent, excluding vehicle repositioning specials.

Commission amounts are based on actual completed Rental Agreement charges and are payable normally, 30 to 45 days after contract completion.  Average commissionable charges are well in excess of $1,250 per rental.

TRAVEL AGENT DISCOUNTS:

Cruise America is pleased to offer our travel agent partners a one-time only 20% discount on "time and mileage" for a personal rental in the US, and Canada. We are offering this exclusive discount because we value your efforts and support. We truly believe that once you discover how great it is to travel in one of our RVs, we know you will want to book more Cruise America RV for your clients.

To be eligible for the discount, the following stipulations are required:

  • You need to present an International Air Transport Association Card (IATA), or an identification of similar Travel Industry standard (CLIA, TIDS, etc)
  • Your agency must be registered with Cruise America Inc.

To receive the personal 20% off discount, the reservation must be made through the Cruise America reservation center at 800 671-8042. The IATA card must be presented, with the same name as the renter, at the time of pick up.
