You can visit world-class art exhibits, eat at one of the many farm-to-table restaurants and take a leisurely afternoon walk to visit some of the other attractions, such as The Pandorica, a café that was inspired by the television show, Dr. Who. Visit the Beacon Theatre, which was originally opened in the 1930s. It was a popular destination for movie screenings and vaudeville performances. Now it is the home of the 4th Wall Production Company, a local theater troupe that performs all throughout the year. Beacon is located just across the bridge from Newburgh. It only takes a few minutes to get there via I-84 E.
If you're in for an adventure that involves anything you want it to, New York City is just a hop, skip and a jump from Newburgh. While most everybody knows this, NYC is home to the iconic sites like the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Central Park and so much more.
