Conveniently located next to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, our Cruise America rental center in Kingwood, Texas has Houston Kingwood RVs available for a perfect fly-and-drive vacation. Explore the Houston’s Theater District, home to the Bayou Place entertainment complex. Shop at the Galleria, Texas’ largest shopping mall. Blast off to outer space at Space Center Houston, where you can see moon rocks and space shuttles up close. Relax and enjoy the outdoors at one of Houston’s many parks, gardens or the zoo. You really can't go wrong with an RV rental in Houston.

If you decide you want to break away for some daytrips, there are plenty of options. You can start by traveling just 50 miles south on I-45 to Galveston, Texas. This tropical island paradise is located on the coastline of Texas, and offers enough fun and attractions to last for several vacations, so don't try to cover it all in just one trip. You can park your rental motorhome in one of the many RV parks in the area, then explore the 32 miles of beaches, or take part in the many leisurely activities on the 2-½ mile-wide island. There are a myriad of great restaurants to choose from should you decide to skip cooking in your RV kitchen. The bustling downtown area offers plenty of cruising, shopping, arts and entertainment. This is what makes an RV rental in Houston so much fun!

If you travel west on I-10 from Houston for approximately 195 miles you will reach San Antonio, the state's second-most populated city, and the seventh-most populated city in the country. San Antonio is perhaps most known for being home to the Alamo, which is surely the most important historical site in Texas. The Alamo draws more visitors than any other attraction in the state of Texas. There is no entrance fee to get in. During peak season (May 26 – Sept 4) the hours of operation are: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. During the off-peak season (Sept 5 – May 25) they are open from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. They are closed Christmas Day.

San Antonio's River Walk is another popular attraction that you and your family do not want to miss. You will enjoy the lively walkways running beside the banks of the San Antonio River, which are adorned with shops, stores, hotels, bars and restaurants. The River Walk connects attractions such as the Alamo to the Rivercenter Mall, to the Arneson River Theatre and La Villita, to the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the Pearl Brewery. While in San Antonio, you may want to visit the Six Flags Fiesta theme park, where you will find something for every member of your family.

If you are looking for recreational areas that epitomize the natural beauty of Texas, there is no better place to find it than the Texas Hill Country. This attraction-filled region sweeps all the way from San Antonio to just north of Austin, and goes west approximately 200 miles until the land begins to level out. The hills, lakes, streams and rivers provide the perfect camping spots for hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, and every other type of outdoor activity you can think of. While traveling through this gorgeous region, consider visiting some of the interesting areas such as the towns of Bandera, Kerrville and Fredericksburg, as well as the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area and the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers.
