10 RV Recipes for Camping

The best meals are easy, require few ingredients, and will leave you wanting more! Here are 10 recipes for RV camping:

1. Marinated Grilled Chicken

For marinated grilled chicken, you will need the following ingredients:

  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅛ cup lemon juice
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 chicken breasts

Mix these ingredients in a ziplock bag. Then add the chicken to the bag before placing it in a large bowl inside the fridge. Lastly, marinade for 8 hours before grilling.

2. Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs

Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs is one of the best RV recipes. They are simple, delicious, and leave your stomach satisfied. Best of all, all you need are three ingredients:

  • Frozen meatballs
  • BBQ sauce
  • Can of pineapple

Start by adding your meatballs to your slow cooker, then pour your BBQ sauce for added flavor. Then dump in the can of diced pineapple to taste. Cook for approximately two hours before serving them on mini-slider buns.

3. Instant Pot BBQ Pork Chops

If you have an Instant Pot, BBQ pork chops are the way to go! Here are the ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pork seasoning
  • BBQ sauce
  • 1 ½ cups of chicken broth

Season your pork chops to taste. Turn on the Instant Pot to the “Saute” option, and add olive oil. Brown both sides of your pork chops before removing them from a pan. Add your chicken broth to the maker and drop 2 tbsp of BBQ sauce into the pot. Place a lid on your Instant Pot and set it to “Manual” for 10 minutes before removing your pork chops and placing them on a baking sheet.

4. Bacon-Wrapped Trout

Here is what you need to make bacon-wrapped trout:

  • 14-ounce rainbow trout, Butterfield, bones removed
  • 1 tbsp Four Seasons Blend
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 bunch thyme
  • 1 ¼ cup sage leaves, sliced
  • ½ pound thinly sliced bacon

Your grill should be turned onto medium heat. Make sure to season your trout inside and out with Four Seasons Blend before stuffing it with herbs, then wrapping it with bacon. Turn your trout frequently until the bacon is crisp. The process should take no more than 15-20 minutes.

5. Grilled Parmesan Asparagus

Fill up on your vitamin C and fiber needs with grilled parmesan asparagus. Here is what you need:

  • 1 pound of trimmed asparagus
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat your grill to medium heat. Use a small baking pan to hold your asparagus, and add olive oil. Place your asparagus in a single layer before sprinkling it with garlic salt, and pepper. Grill until your asparagus is crisp-tender.

6. Grilled Corn

The next stop on this list is grilled corn on the cob. Assemble these ingredients:

  • Foil
  • Garlic salt
  • Butter
  • Ears of corn

Fire up the grill and keep it at medium heat. After removing the outer husk from each ear of corn, rub it down with unsalted butter. Then, place the ears of the corn on aluminum foil, and roll up the ends of the foil over the cob. Place the corn on the grill gates for around 20 minutes, flipping every so often.

7. In-A-Pinch Pizza

As Peter Parker would say, “pizza time!” Here are the ingredients for in-a-pinch pizza

  • Mini pizza crust
  • 1 tbsp of tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning

  • ½ sliced yellow pepper and mushrooms

Start by spreading the tomato sauce on pizza crusts. Add the other ingredients along with the seasoning. Finally, follow the backing instructions on your mini pizza crust package.

If your kids are picky eaters, serve them hot dogs on a stick. Here is what you will need:
