Bobby Lynn’s Marina & RV Park

Amenities: If you’re looking for a boating adventure along with your park visit, Bobby Lynn’s Marina & RV Park is the spot for you. Located just north of the Gulf of Mexico, this interesting RV campground is the only one in the area with waterfront sites. Each site has a boat ramp making casting off a breeze. They also charter their own boat tours if you’d rather not haul your own. There’s not much to do here besides admire the scenery and head out to sea. But, full hookups are available at every site.

Island House RV Park

Amenities: What this small RV park lacks in fancy amenities, it makes up for in location and outstanding hospitality. Island House RV Park is essentially a parking lot surrounded by gravel. But, it’s got all the essentials like full hookups at every site and an on-site laundry room. You’ll also be just half a block away from the beach. What landed Island House on our list are the friendly owners who will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Expect help parking your rig, directions getting around the area, and even advice on fishing and birding spots.

Louisiana stays temperate all through the winter, making this an excellent option to avoid crowds. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, aim for mid-February for the sweet spot before spring brings all the Mardi Gras revelers.

Spring
