Winter

Massachusetts is no stranger to frigid temperatures that make your teeth chatter. In January, average temperatures hover around 34 degrees Fahrenheit with an overnight low of 14 degrees. Spring

Summer

The summer season in Wells State Park is quite pleasant. The average high temperature in July reaches a mere 80 degrees Fahrenheit, with overnight lows dropping to just below 60 degrees. August is similar (temperature-wise). For some afternoon fun, Walker Pond has a swimming beach for visitors.

Fall

October is the wettest month of the year, with approximately 4.7 inches of rain. You’ll start to feel the incoming cold weather since average high temperatures rise to a mere 60 degrees Fahrenheit. By November, that number drops to 49 degrees. Do note that the campground is closed during this season.
