If you’re a Country Thunder Music Festival novice, it’s safe to say that you may feel a bit overwhelmed by the logistics involved in attending these major festivals. Deciding whether you should camp, glamp, or stay in a nearby hotel is a big decision for some, but not us. Nearly all of Country Thunder’s locations offer on-site campgrounds that are convenient and just as exciting as the festival. Below is a quick guide to the best RV camping spots for Country Thunder events in 2022 and 2023.
Country Thunder Music Festival Camping Roundup (2022-2023)

Arizona
Country Thunder in Florence, Arizona is very welcoming to on-site campers. While the amenities are not as extensive as other sites, they are enough to make for a very pleasant experience. There is even a designated family-friendly site within its campground.
Dates: April 13-16, 2023
Campsite Sizes: 19ft x 40ft (standard), 20ft x 50ft (premier)
Pricing: Sold Out
Hookups: Standard campsites do not offer any hookup options. If you prefer your own restroom, shower and electrical power, you’ll need a self-contained RV rental. Premier campsites do offer water and 50 amp electrical hookups.
Additional Perks: All campsites are within walking distance to the concerts. Community showers (for a nominal fee) and restrooms are available if you don’t have them in your RV. Service trucks are also available on-site to fill and pump water tanks (at an additional cost for standard sites).

Florida
Country Thunder in Kissimmee, Florida offers a variety of on-site camping options. It is important to note that the purchase of a campsite does not include festival entry.

Campsite Sizes: Range in size from 20ft x 40ft to 25ft x 55ft
Pricing: $165-$650
Hookups: Based on your RV unit and budget, you can opt for zero hookups, water-only, electric-only or both water and electric. Electrical options range from 30 to 50 amps.
Additional Perks: All campsites are within walking distance to the concerts. If you purchase a premier campsite, you receive additional perks like catered breakfast, one water fill, one grey water tank pump, souvenir laminates, and more.

Iowa
Country Thunder Iowa is hosted in Forest City and ensures a great time. This Iowa event offers on-site camping with the option to add a personal port-a-potty at your campsite. There are primitive sites starting at $150 but are also electric hookup sites for an additional cost. Note, none of the campsites offer water hookups.

Tennessee
Country Thunder Bristol in Tennessee offers guests various RV camping options for the music festival at Bristol Motor Speedway. There are several levels of RV camping available including Medallion Camping, Dragway Pit Area Camping, and Dragway Premium Camping.

Hookups: The Medallion and Dragway Premium campsites include 30 or 50 amp power and water hookups. The Dragway Pit campsites are primitive and don’t offer any hookups.

Wisconsin
Genoa City is home to Country Thunder Wisconsin and also hosts on-site camping. The Crown Camping package includes 50 amp hookups, access to water, septic service, and more. The regular campsites are primitive. A self-contained Cruise America RV rental is a great option for this event.

Country Thunder Alberta in Calgary is the only edition that does not feature on-site campgrounds. Luckily, Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage is located nearby.

Saskatchewan (Canada)
The city of Craven hosts Country Thunder Saskatchewan, and if you’ve never been to Canada this could be the perfect summer getaway. Silver and Family Camping sites allow you to stay close to all the action. Note, you will need four-day admission to enter the campgrounds.

Hookups: Camping here is one size fits all. There are no hookups or extra amenities available for purchase.
