Q: What are your names?

A: Naomi & Luke!

Q: Where are you both from?

A: Brisbane, Australia

Q: Where did you depart from?

A: We did a one way trip from San Francisco, CA and dropped it off in Salt Lake City, UT.

Q: Which RV did you rent?

A: We went with your 25 ft Standard RV.

Q: Where did you travel to?

A: After we left San Francisco, we first headed up to Lake Tahoe to get in some snowboarding. After that, we spent a week driving down through Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, and Death Valley National Parks before stopping in Las Vegas. After Vegas, we traveled to the Grand Canyon then went up through Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks to Salt Lake City, UT.

Q: Some people get creative and name their RV for their journey.  Did you happen to, and if so, what was his/her name?

A: The rig!

Q: From your pictures, it looks like you had a great time!  Where was your favorite place you traveled to?

A: It's impossible to choose a favorite, every place we stopped was incredible, but Yosemite National Park was absolutely amazing!

Q: With all the great memories you created from this trip, what is your favorite?

A: Nothing beats sitting outside of the RV with a coffee watching the sunrise and sunset!

Q: Traveling by an RV has it's perks, we have to admit. What would you say was your favorite part traveling by RV?

A: Being able to spend the night in incredible places that a hotel would never have allowed us to do.

Q: Where was your favorite place you camped at, and why?

A:  It's so hard to choose just one but waking up to the sunrise over the Golden Gate Bridge was something else.

Q: What would you have liked to have known before heading out on your adventure?

A: I wish we had of known that there was a National Park Annual Pass available, it saves a bunch of money if you're going to two or more parks!

Q: Do you have any tips for first-time renters?

A: I have a few!

  • Take your time, try not to rush through your trip if you don't have to, the best part about having an RV is being able to see and enjoy everything around you
  • Plan loosely, but don't structure your entire trip down to the minute, we found/booked most campsites the morning of and deviated from our plan many, many times.
  • You don't always have to pay lots of money and book months in advance to secure the best spots, at the end of the day, you're usually just sleeping there and the free spot just off the side of the road 5 minutes away serves the same purpose.
