Traveling in a Cruise America RV rental is a liberating way to get away. That’s because you’re never encumbered with the normal components of travel, such as flight schedules, hotel reservations and car rentals. It’s a way to enjoy the company of your friends and family as you make your way over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house, or wherever your chosen destination may be.
Possibly, one of the best advantages of traveling RV-style is that you never need to be somewhere in a hurry. In fact, you can go at your own pace, if that’s your preference. It’s the most comfortable, convenient way to see the countryside and spend time in the wilderness, or on the beach, or in the mountains, or simply parked in grandmother’s driveway for a comfy (and escapable) visit over the holidays.
In addition, the portability of our Cruise America motorhomes affords travelers the chance to gain full access to places where an overnight stay in a hotel would not be possible, or would at least be cost prohibitive.
As an example:
Let’s say that you are headed to a huge outdoor event like South by Southwest, in your Cruise America rental motorhome. If you were to attend this huge music and film festival without an RV, you’d have to find sleeping accommodations somewhere. Good luck with THAT! You’d end up on the ground in a sleeping bag, sharing the porta-johns and a public portable shower with the rest of the crowd. If you don’t choose to sleep on the ground, you may very-well end up searching for an available hotel room, only to find that the nearest one is 45 miles away and costs $350 per night.
However, if you attend the festival in your rental RV from Cruise America, you can set up right there on property. That way, you can come back to your clean, climate-controlled class C RV after a very long, tiring day at the festival. Oh, and by the way, you’ll also have your own private bathroom, shower and kitchen!
Aside from the “restful haven” factor, there is also the fact that in the evening when the music stops, the party continues on at the RV parking lot. There is just a certain comradery amongst motorhome users that tends to come out when the campfires start up. Sitting around the fire, swapping RV experiences, is a great way to get to know other concert-goers, and a greater way to create memories that will last a lifetime.
