With great facilities scattered throughout the states, it’s easy to find one to visit in your RV rental. Here are some of our personal favorite zoos and aquariums in the U.S that you won’t want to miss.
 

Monterey Bay Aquarium


Monterey Bay Aquarium is considered one of the best aquariums in the world. The nonprofit aquarium in Monterey, California is a leader in ocean conservation and education and works to inspire marine preservation. Visitors can explore multiple exhibits, view select animal feedings and watch daily shows.

Denver Zoo


Take the journey to Denver, Colorado and experience dozens of amazing exhibits and attractions at the Denver Zoo. Shedd Aquarium


Experience unforgettable encounters at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium    


If you just can’t decide between visiting a zoo or an aquarium, do both! Nebraska is home to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, where visitors can explore both traditional zoo exhibits as well as view underwater wildlife. San Diego Zoo


The San Diego Zoo is a place of conservation, dedicated to saving species from around the world. The zoo is full of activities for all ages, offering tours, animal encounters, play areas, shows and even a “Skyfari Aerial Tram” where visitors can take an airborne ride over the trees to other parts of the zoo. Consistently ranked as one of America’s favorite zoos, the San Diego Zoo is a must-see destination for animal lovers.

Georgia Aquarium


Visit downtown Atlanta and check out the popular scientific institution known as the Georgia Aquarium.
