There is something to suit everyone, from educational exhibits to observation towers to amazing scenic drives and hikes if you are in the mood to get out and hoof it on foot.
Blueridge Parkway Scenic Drive
The Blueridge Parkway scenic drive is unlike any other nature tour you will take! This is why you rent a motorhome! The 469-mile drive features nonstop natural wonder as it takes you from Shenandoah National Park on one end to the Great Smoky National Park on the other end.
If you are a road warrior, you can see the Blueridge Parkway all in one day (allow at least 10 hours for a full one-way drive). Linville Gorge & Linville Falls

The area hosts the historic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, which has already survived one move due to the eroding coastline.
